MaskPass
An automatic-door access prototype that ran a custom mask-classification model and thermal screening on edge hardware before granting entry.
What I builtTrained a binary MobileNetV2 image classifier, exported it as a quantized TensorFlow Lite model, and integrated it with OpenCV face detection, thermal sensing, and Python-controlled door hardware on a Raspberry Pi 4B.
OutcomeCompleted as my practical-engineering final project and awarded 98/100.
